WHO WE ARE
Founded at the start of 2023, Suncake Specials is a nonprofit that provides customized birthday cakes to those who cant afford to buy one of their own. We believe birthdays are an important holiday because they provide people with inspiration to keep persisting until their next birthday. We hope to spread this inspiration through our homemade birthday cakes to people in need, motivating them to keep fighting their situational problems for another year.
OUR HISTORY
12/31/22
With hope to help those in need, our founder, Sunny, created Suncake Specials at the age of 13. Sunny hopes to make birthdays better for families in need, a day that should be celebrated with happiness and joy, not hunger or worry

Sunny began growing her nonprofit, starting her social media accounts and reaching out to shelters to offer the services of Suncake Specials
2/27/23
While wating for birthday cake requests, Suncake Specials made their first donation to a shelter in Dallas. We baked 66 vanilla cupcakes for an event they were hosting.
3/31/23
We made our first customized birthday cake! Want to know the sad part? The client cancelled their order on the day of delivery...
4/2/23
Our first ACTUAL customized cake! We baked a vanilla cake with blue icing swirls on the top. The people we delivered the cake to were really happy to see the cake, which motivated us to keep baking more.
Though it has only been a year, Suncake Specials has truly grown. We still have a long way to go, but we believe we can grow in the process!
